Monday: SSR 10-15 minutes - Test on capital letters - write "Suspense Story" plot
Tuesday:SSR 10-15 minutes - DON'T FORGET AR POINTS ARE DUE NEXT WEEK! Learn how to use commas. Homework: Finish p.15-16. Read "Do or Die" for purpose.
Wednesday:SSR 10-15 minutes - Learn to use semicolons and colons. Homework: Finish the worksheet. Continue reading for purpose.
Thursday:SSR 10-15 minutes - Review commas, semicolons, and colons. Continue reading for purpose.
Friday:SSR 10-15 minutes - comma, semicolon, colon quiz. Students will take comprehension test on "Do or Die".
Math Book 2:
Monday: Students will add and subtract fractions. Homework: pages 128-129 #14-25
Tuesday: Students will be able to add mixed numbers. Homework: pages 132-133 #15-37 odd
Wednesday: Review for mid chapter quiz
Thursday: Mid chapter quiz
Friday: Students will be able to multiply fractions and mixed numbers.
Math Book 1:
Monday: Students will be able to represent decimals using a number line and set models. Homework: pages 126-127 #6-18
Tuesday: Students will be able to rewrite decimals as fractions and percents. Homework: pages 129-130 # 19-20, 25-33odd, 41-44

Friday: Students will be able to compare and order decimals.
History/Geography:
Monday- Ice Age. Large game died out. Hunting became critical. Define the following words: temperature, glacier, Greenland, inter glacial, ice sheet, glaciation, glacial deposits
Tuesday- Locate Current Ice Sheets. Define Antarctica, southern hemisphere, desert, antarctic circle, magnetic pole, ice shelf. Apply five themes.
Wednesday- New Stone Age. Define: farming, herding, division of labor, artisans, pottery, Catel Huyuk, bartering
Thursday- River Valley Civilizations. Define: Asia, Tigris, Euphrates, theocracy, Nile, Mesopotamia, Yellow River, Huang River.
Friday- Geography of Mesopotamia. Define: Red Sea, city-state, new stone age, Sumer, Mediterranean Sea, Akkad, Black Sea
