MONDAY:
Period 2 – Reading
- SSR 10-15 minutes
- Pass out Chapter 9 House on Hackman’s Hill Quiz. They will need their books for this quiz.
- Hand out Spelling and Voc. list
Period 3 – Language Arts
- DOL – Week 11 DOL collect them when they are finished.
Spelling and Vocabulary pre- test. Have them take out a piece of paper and number it 1-9. Read the spelling words and then give them about 10-15 minutes to write the voc. Definitions down. They need to use their list to check their papers so they know how to study.
Period 4 - Math Book 2
- 8.5 Finding the area of a trapezoid, pages 396-397. Do # 7-20 and 21-23. Finish for Homework.
Period 5 – Math Book 1
- 8.6 Dividing with mixed numbers Day 1 Teach lesson pages 400-401. Do problems 6-13 and 15-25 odd. Finish for homework.
Period 6 – History
- Read Chapter 35 sections and do the worksheets in their notebooks that go with what you read..
Period 8 – Language Arts Strategies

- Students will read 2 chapters of Al Capone Does My Shirts.
- After they read they will write a six sentence paragraph summary of those chapters .
TUESDAY:
